We are seeking a Product Engineer to join our team at Lifaing, a global leading automotive parts company. As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing product drawings, data, and samples, and developing engineering BOMs and product configuration tables. You will also participate in new product development projects, propose technical requirements for equipment and tools, and collaborate with test center engineers to review product test plans.
Requirements
- Review product drawings, data, samples, standards, and customer-provided materials, and perform product structure, function, and material analysis
- Participate in the company's self-designed product structure review and manufacturing process feasibility analysis, and submit review opinions
- Participate in new product development projects, and be responsible for engineering development work during the new project development process
- Propose technical requirements for equipment, tools, molds, and products, and participate or support equipment, tool, and mold inspection and installation debugging as needed
- Collaborate with the test center's test engineers, participate in the review of product test plans, and be responsible for independently drafting external processing product test plans, and submit them to customers for approval
- Collaborate with front-end manufacturing process engineers to participate in product pre-production, and solve problems related to product structure, materials, drawings, etc. during production/deployment/experimental processes
- Participate in external processing development, sign technical requirements with external processing factories, conduct supplier design technical reviews, and be responsible for issuing and accepting external component engineering
- Collaborate with personnel responsible for precision process review to complete related reviews, and track and manage problems
- Participate in the introduction and digestion of innovative products and technologies during the project development process
- Participate in various technical activities that directly affect product structure, materials, and data, and assist in optimizing product development process resources and costs
- Complete various tasks related to engineering and files according to client and Lifaing's system requirements
- Complete other tasks assigned by leadership
