Job Description
The Senior Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for developing training material, evaluating maintenance practices, and improving equipment performance. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and automation of injection molding equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive maintenance experience and a strong understanding of injection molding processes and equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years experience in injection molding maintenance/manufacturing engineering
- Minimum of 10 years direct hands on maintenance experience in an injection molding facility
- Analytical problem solving skills
- Exceptional understanding of injection molding processes and equipment
- Extensive hands on experience with injection molding equipment, robotics, and auxiliary equipment
- Proven maintenance troubleshooting experience
- Proven mechanical aptitude for problem solving
- Proven maintenance engineering excellence in the automotive industry
- Proven hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical experience and troubleshooting ability
- Solid understanding of controls and control systems in the injection molding environment
- Thorough understanding of ANSI and OSHA requirements relative to injection molding equipment
