Server Support Engineer

Yeo & Yeo Technology is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer to install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, with a focus on resolving complex technical issues.

Requirements

• 8+ years’ experience working in an information technology setting
• Proven experience of Microsoft Windows Server, including SQL Server
• Proven experience with working in a virtualization environment
• Disaster recovery experience and strong understanding of security, threat detection, prevention and remediation
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and initiatives
• Ability to seek supplementary knowledge and understanding of systems support
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues outside of your knowledgebase
• Demonstrate problem solving strategies and practical knowledge
• Ability to work effectively with clients
• Proficient in IT security
• Proficient in backup technologies and concepts surrounding backups including replication
• Experience working with and managing a workload which is distributed across multiple teams and departments
• M365 experience, including migration, setup, and management
