Job Description
The Dean of Instruction at YES Prep North Rankin Elementary will manage and develop a cohort of teachers, set clear expectations and standards for excellent teaching, and ensure students receive outstanding instruction in all classrooms.
Requirements
- Manage and develop a cohort of teachers
- Set clear expectations and standards for excellent teaching in all content areas
- Ensure students receive outstanding instruction in all classrooms by observing and evaluating a cohort of teachers
- Ensure students are safe and supported in all classrooms
- Assist in the planning and delivery of professional learning opportunities to campus teachers and staff
- Participate in strategic district-led professional development for instructional leaders
- Facilitate and/or support the facilitation of grade-level planning time for a cohort of teachers
