YES Prep is a public charter school system that seeks to hire a Special Education Self-Contained Teacher for its White Oak Elementary campus. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years of Special Education teaching experience, and a valid Texas Educator Special Education Certification. The role will involve developing and executing the vision for Alternate Instruction, managing YSTEP units, and providing coaching and support to teachers. The salary range is $91,800 to $102,800 based on experience and TIA designation.
Requirements
- Experience with Life Skills programming or similar settings
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- At least 3 years of exemplary Special Education teaching experience
- Hold a valid Texas Educator Special Education Certification
- Hold a valid Texas Educator Certification in Core Content
- Belief in and commitment to the mission and core value of YES Prep Public Schools
