Job Description
YES Prep is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join their team. The teacher will guide Life Skills teachers toward success with their students and student achievement through classroom culture and management, instructional planning, and delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience with Life Skills programming, a valid Texas Educator Special Education Certification, and a strong record of student achievement results.
Requirements
- Experience with Life Skills programming or similar settings
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- At least 3 years of exemplary Special Education teaching experience
- Outstanding record of student achievement results
- Hold a valid Texas Educator Special Education Certification
- Hold a valid Texas Educator Certification in Core Content
- Belief in and commitment to the mission and core value of YES Prep Public Schools
- Openness to giving and receiving frequent feedback
- Demonstrated ability to work on a team
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and initiatives at once
