Supplier Quality Engineer

Role Overview

The Supplier Quality Engineer will manage supplier quality for YETI's manufacturing partners, ensuring they are qualified and capable of producing high-quality goods. This role will partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Global Sourcing teams to drive supplier qualification, solid manufacturing capability, and PPAP on new/revised products.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include driving supplier quality, engaging in APQP-based manufacturing and supplier quality programs, gathering pre-shipment and warranty data, analyzing new supplier capability, and working with cross-functional teams to incorporate APQP in major product development projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering
• Greater than 5 years of engineering experience
• Previous experience within a global full service supply chain model
• Past hands-on experience and knowledge of traditional quality tools, APQP, DFx, FMEA, DOE, GR&R, SPC, and PPAP
• Experience effectively utilizing statistical methods and statistical analysis tools
• Must be fluent in English with excellent written and communication skills
