Director, Billing and Revenue Systems

Yext is seeking a high-impact Director of Billing and Revenue Systems to lead and transform our global billing and revenue technology landscape.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in financial systems and revenue operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a fast-paced, public SaaS environment.
• Hands-on Technical Mastery: Deep, expert-level experience configuring and optimizing Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue (RevPro).
• B2B & B2C Fluency: Proven track record supporting complex B2B enterprise contracts alongside higher-volume B2C billing motions.
• Transformation Mindset: Experience leading a major system transformation or “ree-implementation” to fix technical debt and improve scalability.
• Tech Stack Breadth: Advanced proficiency with Salesforce (CPQ), NetSuite, and Avalara.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606 Revenue Recognition.
• Future-Focused Curiosity: A natural inclination to research industry trends and a “build vs. buy” mentality when evaluating the next generation of Yext’s financial tools.
• Communication Excellence: Ability to present complex technical roadmaps to C-suite executives and translate accounting requirements into technical specifications for developers.
• Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, particularly the “Lead-to-Cash” process and its technical dependencies.
• Leadership experience with a proven ability to partner cross-functionally and on an international, cross-cultural basis.
