Job Description
YMCA is seeking passionate individuals to provide fun, safe, and positive social-emotional experiences for students before and after school. This role offers on-site employment, flexible scheduling (potentially full time), and opportunities for professional growth with YMCA of Columbia-Willamette Association. Responsibilities include leading classroom activities, ensuring a safe environment, and fostering relationships with students, parents, and the community.
Requirements
- Pass a YMCA Background Check
- At least 240 hours of qualifying experience working with school age children
- Associate or higher degree in a related field, or a Step 6 on the Oregon Registry
- Current enrollment in the Oregon State Childcare Registry or ability to enroll prior to employment
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Current Food Handlers certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- At least 18 years of age
- Salary: Starting at $22
