Job Description
The Group Exercise Instructor is responsible for providing excellent, safe, and motivating instruction to YMCA members and program participants. This role involves maintaining a clean and organized group exercise area, promoting wellness programs, and ensuring participant safety and comfort. The position is part-time and open to all.
Requirements
- Leads fitness and/or related classes following YMCA standards.
- Communicates and enforces wellness center rules.
- Trains participants in a professional manner.
- Watches and corrects participants in an unsafe manner.
- Promotes wellness and other YMCA programs.
- Arrives 10-15 minutes prior to class.
