Job Description
The YMCA is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor to provide excellent instruction, support, and motivation to members in group exercise programs. This part-time position involves maintaining class cleanliness, ensuring participant safety, and upholding YMCA standards. The company values inclusivity and provides an open and supportive environment.
Requirements
- Leads fitness and/or related classes following YMCA standards.
- Communicates and enforces wellness center rules.
- Trains participants in a professional manner.
- Watches and corrects participants when exercising safely.
- Sets up and takes down class equipment.
- Ensures participants are registered appropriately.
- Promotes wellness and other YMCA programs.
- Completes assigned duties before class.
- Follows YMCA guidelines.
