Job Description
This part-time position is for a Group Exercise Instructor at the Xenia YMCA. The role involves providing safe instruction, motivating members, and maintaining a clean environment within the group exercise area. The YMCA focuses on welcoming, valuing individuals, and supporting growth and community building.
Requirements
- Leads fitness and/or related classes following YMCA standards
- Communicates and enforces wellness center rules
- Promotes wellness programs
- Ensures participant registration
- Train participants in both demonstrative and professional manner
- Watches and corrects exercise safety
- Educates members on appropriate attire
- Develops positive relationships and provides motivation
- Increases member awareness of healthy lifestyle factors
