Swim Instructor

Swim Instructor at South YMCA in Kettering, OH, responsible for providing excellent and safe instruction, motivation, and support to YMCA members and program participants in swim programs.

Requirements

• Lead swim instruction sessions in accordance with YMCA standards and guidelines
• Ensure safety by communicating and enforcing pool rules, policies, and guidelines
• Train participants in a manner that is both demonstrative and professional
• Provide excellent member service
• Promote aquatics and other YMCA programs
• Communicate any concerns or incidents to supervisor
• Knows and administers the appropriate EAP (emergency action plan) for any situation
