Job Description
The Aquatics Team of the Edward L. Gaylord YMCA is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of patrons in the pool. Lifeguards are responsible for rescue, emergency care, monitoring swim conditions, and maintaining pool safety standards. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, and do basic math.
- Must be able to rescue 200-pound people.
- Able to communicate verbally.
- Must be alert in humid and hot conditions.
- Strong water skills and must have top physical fitness.
- CPR/AED/O2 and First Aid certification.
