Job Description
The Rankin YMCA is seeking a skilled Water Aerobics/Exercise Instructor to join their team. This role involves teaching group exercise classes, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring participant safety. The position offers opportunities for training and professional development in a fun and supportive environment. No lifeguard experience is required, but commitment to current CPR/AED/O2 training and first aid is essential.
Requirements
- Must be certified in CPRPR/AED/O2 and First Aid.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- 6 months or 60 hours of practical experience of group exercise class experience.
- Must be able to lift in excess of ten pounds.
- YMCA Healthy Lifestyles and YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise or National Certification
