Early Education Assistant Teacher

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Early Ed Assistant Teacher is responsible for assisting the Early Ed Teacher with the daily supervision of program participants and is responsible for assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of program components and activities.

Requirements

• Assists teachers with the planning and leading of age and developmentally appropriate learning experiences
• Interacts with children and provides proper supervision of children at all times
• Follows all procedures and standards as established by the law or the Y
