The Group Ex Instructor will be responsible for instructing group training classes in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that welcomes people of all skill and fitness levels.
Requirements
- Area of Expertise certification
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- AED certification
- National certification (ACSM, ACE, AFAA, ISSA, NASM, NESTA, NETA, NPTI, NSCA) in personal training
- 1 year of experience teaching group wellness classes
- Proven knowledge of exercise science, movement coaching, and movement competency
- Completion of YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification within 60 days of hire
