Job Description
The YMCA Day Camp Site Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of a single YMCA Day Camp site, providing direct leadership to camp staff and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging experience for campers. The role ensures compliance with YMCA Child & Youth Safety and Protection Policies, Ontario Camps Association standards, and YMCA Health and Safety requirements.
Requirements
- Current Standard First Aid/CPR(C) Certification
- Currently enrolled in or completion of a post-secondary program in a child or youth-related field
- A minimum of two years' experience supporting or delivering programs in a camp or child and youth services environment
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (Crisis Prevention Institute) Training is an asset
- Experience in supervising and coaching staff and volunteers is an asset
- Current Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) issued for the YMCA of Niagara if above the age of 18
