Job Description
The YMCA of Northeastern Ontario is seeking a Facility Manager to join their team at John Island Camp. The Facility Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing the camp's cleaning and maintenance operations.
Requirements
- Conduct daily site inspections and complete basic maintenance of camp buildings, grounds, and equipment
- Maintain and monitor camp infrastructure systems, including water systems, generators, composting systems, and fire protection equipment
- Supervise, train, and schedule the Facilities staff team, and coordinate maintenance rotations for Camp Counsellors
- Schedule and oversee cleaning and maintenance of washrooms, showers, dining hall, maintenance shop, and waste removal
- Coordinate the ordering, transportation, and storage of diesel, propane, gasoline, and facility supplies from the mainland to the island
