Job Description
The Development Specialist position works on all areas of Development (marketing, communication, and philanthropy) within the association, providing leadership and support to branches and leadership on philanthropic reporting, trends, and donor engagement opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university; or, one to two years related experience and/or training; or, equivalent combination of education or experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize; ability to work without direct supervision; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; professionalism when interacting with donors and volunteers
- Event management experience
- Social media knowledge and experience in digital software
- Ability to find and solve financial discrepancies based on knowledge obtained through daily transactions.
