Job Description
The YMCA of Southern Nevada is looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and dedicated candidates for our Summer Camp Counselor position! You will supervise groups of children and implement YMCA activities under the direction of the Youth Development Director. You will work collaboratively with peers to lead activities like group games, painting, reading, and motor skills activities. Join us and have an exciting and challenging summer job, and make this a fantastic experience for the kids, families and communities we serve!
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Summer Camp Training - Mandatory training May 16th - 23rd
- Working with Children training within 30 days of hire
- Within 30 days of hire, current American Red Cross CPR for the professional rescuer (includes AED) and First Aid Certifications
- 18 years or older preferred. 16 years or older required
