The School Age/Day Camp Site Director maintains a supportive, positive learning atmosphere for youth to participate in and practice YMCA values. The role oversees the program, activities, and staff for the assigned location, and is responsible for developing engaging curriculum and nurturing children through culturally relevant programming.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, with 12 college credits in the field of education or related to school age children
- 18 years of age
- Proof of MMR vaccination required
- Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds
- Commitment to inclusion and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Previous experience working with children in a camp or after school setting preferred
