Job Description
We are offering a competitive starting salary of £40,110, a Company van, and various benefits. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will work across the Castlefield/Tadcaster areas, undertaking maintenance of Yorkshire Water's Mechanical assets, and responding to emergency calls. You will work unsupervised in remote geographic locations and be accountable for the completion of planned and reactive mechanical tasks.
Requirements
- Recognised Mechanical craft/Technician Apprenticeship
- City & Guilds/ ONC/ BTEC/ NVQ/ HNC/ HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Eng Tech
- Full valid driving licence (with no more than six points)
- Experience and knowledge in Safe isolation to the current IET regulations
- Time served industrial mechanical fitter
- Working with rotating equipment
- Ability to produce maintenance reports
- Fault finding on mechanical systems
