Job Description
Young Horizons Child Development Centers is seeking an Assistant Teacher to provide high-quality childcare and preschool programs. The role involves supporting the teacher, providing developmentally appropriate care, and participating in assessments. This is an on-call, part-time position focused on creating a safe and loving learning environment for children. The position requires adherence to relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- Current and valid Assistant Teacher Permit or higher.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 6 units of Early Childhood Education: 3 units in Child Development or Human Development and 3 units in Child, Family and Community or Child, Infants & Toddlers
- 12 months experience working with children ages 6 months through 5 years.
- Medical clearance (MMR, Tdap, TB, Flu shot, or waiver).
