Job Description
The YMCA of Greater Rochester is hiring Group Exercise Instructors to teach a safe and effective fitness class. Instructors will demonstrate YMCA leadership competencies and maintain mission, purpose, image and core values. The role involves demonstrating exercise movements and working with all ages and ability levels.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED.
- High level of attention to detail and quality of programming, service and facilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work with all ages of individuals and groups at all ability levels.
- Must possess and demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, maturity and must be able to work independently.
- Must possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification & Standard First Aid.
- Must possess required certifications as prescribed by program.
