Instructional Coach

The Instructional Coach will provide individualized support and feedback to classroom teachers and teaching assistants to improve overall instruction in ELA and math and student engagement and achievement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Valid New York State teaching certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of research-based instructional strategies
• Ability to identify staff learning needs
• Previous relevant experience in coaching of instructional staff
• Previous relevant experience designing and delivering individualized and group professional development
• Experience in the use of technology for assessment and instruction
• Experience working in an urban public school with elementary children
