Job Description
This Assistant Director position is responsible for supporting the Program Director with hiring and training new employees, motivating and supervising staff, and communicating performance to the Director. The position requires a commitment to strength-based, culturally competent, and unconditional care philosophy, as well as knowledge of child welfare systems, mental health practices, and budgetary concepts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred
- Licensed in AR (LMSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC)
- At least one year previous experience in managing personnel and budgets
- Knowledge of database software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) System
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage
- Bilingual (Spanish) speaking is a plus
