Job Description
Behavioral Health Technician position provides intense individualized mental health interventions and support services in community-based settings to children/adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses and their families. The BHT is supervised by a Qualified Mental Health Professional and implements specific treatment goals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and ability to completed 40+ hours of training
- Minimum of 2 years of experience of provision of behavioral health services
- Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from accredited organization
- Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)
- Must be extremely organized
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be professional, flexible, and have the ability to work independently
- Bi-Lingual is a plus but not required
- Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance coverage
