Foster Care Support Service Worker/Advocate plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of children in foster care. They will initiate treatment plans, provide support and consultation, and coordinate services with the assigned Advocate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a social services field
- One to two years of related experience with working with children, adolescents, and families
- Ability to leverage experience in foster care, collaboration with treatment teams, and working with children, adolescents, and families
- Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources
- Experience working with at-risk youth
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient basic computer skills
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage
