Job Description
This position is responsible for implementing and coordinating behavioral health services throughout Harris County. Provides direct counseling to the individual and family, ensuring that all services are provided in compliance with YAP Policies and State/Federal Regulations.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in one of the following human services field: psychology, criminal justice, sociology, social work, counseling/therapy, or behavioral health.
- Active Professional Licensure in the practice of psychology, counseling, or social work (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.).
- Experience in the provision of home and/or community based mental health services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge: knowledge with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Foster Care experience is a plus.
- Play Therapy experience is a plus.
- Bilingual/Spanish speaking is a plus.
- CPR/First Aid Certification. Behavior Management (MANDT) Certification is a plus.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
