Job Description
Yugabyte is looking for a Staff Engineer to design, build, and scale the core distributed storage, replication, and transaction foundations of YugabyteDB. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in systems programming using C/C++, and experience with distributed systems fundamentals, including replication and consensus.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science (or related field)
- Deep understanding of distributed systems fundamentals
- Experience working on storage engines, databases, or other infrastructure-level systems
