Maintenance Technician II position at YWCA Seattle King Snohomish, responsible for maintaining multiple aspects of facility maintenance, performing common duties to ensure safety, and working closely with staff and vendors to provide critical coordination and information.
Requirements
- 2-3 years' experience of hands-on facility maintenance or building trades with a focus on painting and drywall experience
- Basic computer skills that can operate under work order Apps
- Team player that can work effectively and diplomatically with site personnel and supervisors
- Working knowledge of building and mechanical systems
- Knowledge and experience working with a variety of power and hand tools
- Possess the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of carpentry, cabinetry, painting, and drywall
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple complex tasks, and maintain composure under pressure
- Able to travel between YWCA locations on a regular basis
- Valid Washington State driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance required
- Experience working with communities of color and people from different cultures other than your own and demonstrate an understanding of the intersection of racism and poverty
