Job Description
The Material Control Specialist II is responsible for organizing, monitoring, and ensuring the accuracy of Engineering & Supplier data into the Material Management System (MMS). This role involves assisting with process training, leading data exchange meetings (particularly for joint venture projects), and contributing to IT data curation. They will work on assigned projects and support engineering with requisition assignments and project support.
Requirements
- Curate Engineering and or Procurement data by assigning coding that align to company established standards to each component.
- Lead data exchange meetings with JV Partners (for joint venture projects).
- Work with awarded suppliers to explain requirements of the Electronic Material list (EML).
- Monitor Bill of Material health and report to management potential risks/errors found.
- Assist with training and any support services for other Material Control Specialists.
