Job Description
Zayo is seeking a State and Local Income Tax Manager to oversee all aspects of state and local income tax reporting, planning, and controversy while minimizing tax liabilities and ensuring compliance with state and local income tax laws and regulations.
Requirements
- CPA license
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 6 (six) years of work experience in income taxation with an accounting firm and/or large corporation
- Strong understanding of corporate state and local compliance for income and franchise tax
- Experience with income tax provisions under ASC 740
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other data manipulation programs
- Experience with tax research software
