Job Description
ZEISS is seeking a Biomaterials Production Lab Technician I to perform critical tasks such as compounding and mixing chemicals, maintaining documentation, and performing dimensional inspections for button diameter and thickness. The ideal candidate will have a chemistry related bachelor's degree and previous experience in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing.
Requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of MSOP's, QCSOP's, GMP, and line clearance requirements
- Maintain proper documentation per GDP by filling out work orders correctly and accurately recording accepted and rejected quantities
- Perform biomaterials formulation mixing processes with minimal or no errors
- Perform dimensional inspection for button diameter and thickness
- Perform physical inventory of raw materials and supplies and upload inventory to database
