The Biomaterials Production Operator is responsible for processing biomaterials within a production laboratory environment, supporting hydrophilic button manufacturing while ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and production procedures.

- Working knowledge and understanding of applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manufacturing processes, and supporting documentation practices
- Ability to apply sound judgment and use practical problem-solving skills to resolve challenges and follow work instructions effectively
- Basic math proficiency including algebra, statistical analysis, standard deviation calculations, and chemical concentration calculations
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow safety procedures, operating instructions, maintenance guidelines, and manufacturing documentation
- High attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow procedures and maintain documentation requirements
- Ability to work in a production environment that requires regular standing, walking, sitting, bending, twisting, and repetitive movements throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment or materials weighing approximately 25 pounds or more as needed
- Manual dexterity required for repetitive hand movements, controlled grasping, and fine manipulation tasks
- Strong visual abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus to support detailed inspection and manufacturing activities
