Job Description
As a Field Application Engineer at ZEISS, you will assist customers and the sales team with pre-sales and post-sales activities, providing technical consultation, training, and support on advanced applications and systems. The role requires a strong understanding of 3D mathematics, computer programming, and engineering principles, as well as excellent verbal communication skills. You will be responsible for delivering technical training programs, conducting customer demonstrations, and providing after-sales technical support. This is a full-time position located in Wixom, MI, with the ability to travel in the USA and internationally (35-50%).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of 3D mathematics and computer programming in modern scientific languages
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
