Senior Snowflake Architect (Platform & Administration)

Zelis is seeking a Senior Snowflake Architect to design, build, and operate our Snowflake data platform. The role requires hands-on architecture and platform administration experience, with a strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and cost optimization.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or data platform roles
• 4–5+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience spanning architecture and administration
• Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and cost optimization
• Data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
• Advanced SQL; Python experience preferred
• Experience designing and operating ELT/ETL pipelines
• Working knowledge of Snowflake security and governance features
• Scripting and automation experience (e.g., Bash, Terraform, or similar tools)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
• Snowflake SnowPro Core certification preferred
