Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to design, implement, maintain, and performance tune our database systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, preferably with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- In-depth understanding of database management, security, and backup/recovery techniques.
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
- Experience with monitoring tools and performance tuning.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant database certifications are an advantage.
