Zones is seeking a Sales Manager - SLED IT Sales to lead and develop a high-performing inside sales team supporting the U.S. State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) market. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of IT solutions and the U.S. public sector procurement process.
Requirements
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Account Managers and Inside Sales Representatives
- Ensure the achievement of annual sales and margin targets
- Drive business growth through expansion in hardware, software, cloud, and managed services opportunities
- Maintain disciplined sales execution using Dynamics 365 and other Zones tools
- Develop and execute sales strategies for pipeline growth and new customer acquisition
- Maintain strong relationships with OEM and distribution partners
- Support the team in managing customer relationships
- Foster a learning culture by encouraging participation in internal trainings
- Celebrate team achievements and maintain accountability for performance improvement
- Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and internal governance standards
