Designated Support Engineer III

Zscaler is looking for a Designated Support Engineer III to join our team in a hybrid capacity based in Bangalore or Mohali. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving complex and critical issues escalated from Level I and Level II support engineers, providing second-line phone/email consultation, and collaborating with Engineering and Operations teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of support and networking experience
• Strong understanding of common network and application protocols and behaviors
• Experience in GRE and IPSec configuration and troubleshooting
• Proficient in network troubleshooting using Wireshark, trace route, MTR, and similar tools
• Deep experience in Authentication (SAML, Kerberos), Application Layer understanding, HTTP methods, and tools like Fiddler, IPv4, IPv6, routing, and DNS
