Job Description
Zscaler is looking for a Designated Support Engineer III to join their team in a hybrid capacity based in Bangalore or Mohali. The role will involve providing second-line phone/email consultation, troubleshooting complex security/network problems, and creating entries in the technical support online database. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of support and networking experience, including general firewalls and packet filtering troubleshooting.
Requirements
- 5+ years of support and networking experience
- Strong understanding of common network and application protocols
- Experience in GRE and IPSec configuration and troubleshooting
- Proficient in network troubleshooting using Wireshark, trace route, MTR, and similar tools
- Deep experience in Authentication (SAML, Kerberos), Application Layer understanding
- HTTP methods, and tools like Fiddler, IPv4, IPv6, routing, and DNS
