Job Description
Zscaler is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer in Test to lead quality strategy and execution for a large-scale, cloud-native, multi-tenant platform. The role involves owning end-to-end System Integration Testing (SIT) and quality outcomes, designing and delivering effective test plans, and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in automation testing using Python (pytest/unittest), JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright for end-to-end validation
- Deep experience testing distributed systems, microservices, and scalable cloud-native multi-tenant architectures in AWS, GCP, or Azure environments
- Solid understanding of CI/CD integration, Linux troubleshooting, and containerized environments including Docker and Kubernetes
- Technical knowledge of L2/L3 networking concepts, including routing protocols, VPN, IPSec, and WAN architecture
