Job Description
As ZURU's business and overall impact will grow significantly over the next months and years in the U.S. and globally, we are further building out our legal team to support this growth. The Legal Manager will join our global legal team to assist ZURU in managing litigation, regulatory, and contractual risks.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate/LLB from an accredited law school, and license to practice in applicable country/state
- Minimum 8+ years' experience as an attorney
- Experience researching USA case law
- Experience providing preliminary USA litigation case law summaries and recommendations for USA legal teams to consider
- Experience negotiating and drafting merchandise and brand licensing agreements
- Strong contract review and drafting experience
- Preference for intellectual property prosecution, strategy, review, and implementation
- Negotiating skills with both legal and financial/commercial issues
- Ability to assess and evaluate a broad range of legal issues and risks and provide commercially focussed practical legal advice
- Ability to work collaboratively with our team and business partners
