Real Estate Debt Advisory - Senior Analyst / Associate

Rothschild & Co is seeking a Senior Analyst / Associate to join its Real Estate Debt Advisory team in London. The successful candidate will be an integral part of deal teams, participating in financing transactions from strategy through to execution.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent: 2:1 or above
• ACA (or equivalent) qualified: first time passes (advantage but not essential)
• At least 2-5 years prior experience in a real estate advisory, lending or investing role
• Proven quantitative and analytical skills to develop financial models with a deep understanding of financial statement analysis notably the building of debt schedules and understanding of key credit metrics
• Ability to build effective relationships internally between individuals, teams and across lines of business and different geographies
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects in an extremely fast paced environment to meet critical deadlines
• Ability to communicate clearly as well as persuade and influence others
• Knowledge of fundamental financial principles and experience of applying these
• Knowledge of the European real estate market
• Familiarity with various debt instruments (bonds, bank loans, senior/junior/mezzanine, secured/unsecured) and understanding of the European debt market is desirable but not essential
