Account Manager

Role Overview

As an Account Manager, you are responsible for attracting new customers and retaining existing customers for the South-East Netherlands region, with a focus on North Brabant. You will work with sales colleagues to plan sales activities and be the first point of contact for customers and relationships.

What You Will Do

Issuing tenders, preparing sales reports, issuing ad hoc tariffs, and generating and following up on sales leads are part of your job package. You will maintain daily contact with customers, negotiate commercial aspects, conditions, and terms, and build long-term relationships.

We are looking for a driven, result-oriented Account Manager with at least 4-8 years of work experience in a commercial external service function with knowledge of logistics and road transport.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of work experience in a commercial external service function
• Knowledge of logistics and road transport
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages
• Knowledge of and affinity with the market for road transport, transport documents, and agent networks
