Call Center Representative

The Telephone Operator will receive incoming telephone calls, manage the call routing, and provide assistance to callers. This role involves handling emergency calls, utilizing a commercial and government-approved line, and maintaining accurate records of calls and outages. The operator is responsible for maintaining operator logs, issuing notifications, and assisting with internal communication.

Requirements

• Associate Degree or equivalent
• Two years of previous switchboard experience
• Ability to handle various calls (conference calls, long distance, local calls)
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and work under pressure
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of organizational units and functions of a large multi-division organization
