The Director of Labor Relations is responsible for managing, overseeing, and maintaining Collective Bargaining Agreements, liaising with union representatives, and establishing an effective workforce.
Requirements
- Direct and manage the Division(s) disciplinary process
- Provide advice and guidance regarding Departmental responses to contract and other labor disputes
- Represent the Division(s) and serve as hearing officer for all pre-arbitration hearings
- Supervise support staff and administer work
- Select, develop, and motivate personnel within the department
