Telecommunications Technician responsible for splicing, terminating, and testing fiber optic cable, performing cabling, power, and grounding of various equipment, and installing, removing, or relocating telecommunication equipment.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in telecommunications infrastructure and installation
- HS Diploma or GED
- BICSI Installer I (INST1), BICSI Installer II Copper (INSTC), and BICSI Installer II Fiber (INSTF) certifications
- OSHA Confined Space, basic bucket truck operations, ladder safety, aerial and scissor lift safety, GPS, and cable location training
