Job Description
The Cleaning Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and delivery of cleaning services across The Gyle, covering both internal and external areas of the estate. The role provides front-line supervision and control of cleaning activity, ensuring standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation are consistently achieved.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a cleaning role, with experience acting as a Working Team Leader or Lead Cleaner
- Practical knowledge of both internal and external cleaning operations
- Good understanding of cleaning methods, materials and equipment
- Awareness of Health & Safety and COSHH requirements
- Ability to organise tasks, guide others and lead by example
- Good communication skills and a practical, solution-focused approach
- Reliable, proactive and standards-driven
